The idea for YourTravelBudget came to me after countless conversations with my international friends about how difficult it was to plan trips on a real local budget. We realized that most online travel guides were written by tourists, not by the people who actually live there, and locals always know smarter, cheaper, and more authentic ways to travel. That’s when I decided to create a platform where travelers could get advice directly from locals.

To make it even more useful, I integrated an AI-powered budgeting tool that calculated approximate trip costs for any country or city using live cost data APIs, helping travelers plan smarter and save more.
